Victoria Heppell joined Gowlings' Toronto office in 2005 and works in the Intellectual Property Group. She is a registered patent agent in Canada and the United States.
Since 1999, Victoria has specialized in life science technologies, including the areas of chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology. She has primarily drafted and prosecuted patent applications before Canadian and US patent offices, and has gained valuable experience in preparing opinions on patentability, infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate.
